The 2019 Hyundai Veloster is ready, The All-New 2019 Veloster arrives with Turbo and N models. Hyundai itself said “The Hyundai Veloster is reborn for 2019. The new Veloster has a bold new look, inside and out, torque vectoring control and reprogrammed with next-gen technology”. All Company said the good thing about their product.
So As the buyers and cars lovers, let compare information from the variant good source below, let’s begin.
What New For 2019?
For 2019, five trim grades will be offered: 2.0, 2.0 Premium (automatic only), a lighter, more basic Turbo R-Spec with manual transmission, a middle Turbo offering with the seven-speed twin-clutch, and a fully loaded Turbo Ultimate variant that can be had with either transmission. Color choices include black, white, orange, red, and three shades of silver/gray with Turbo Ultimate models getting a black roof. The cloth is standard on 2.0 and Turbo R-Spec, a cloth-leather combo comes with 2.0 Premium or Turbo, and Ultimates get full leather with two-tone black and Sand Storm gray. All get colorful anodized dash accents in different colors.
The 2019 Veloster’s interior design aesthetic was apparently inspired by café racer motorcycles, and it echoes the exterior’s asymmetry. A 7.0-inch display audio system is standard with an optional 8.0-inch display that offers performance gauges for turbo boost, engine torque, and lateral/longitudinal g-forces. Qi wireless charging and an Infinity premium audio system are available, as is a wide, full-color pop-up reconfigurable head-up display that can depict speed limit, navigation instructions, adaptive cruise and lane-keep assist icons, and several more warnings along with the more traditional speedometer and tachometer.
New safety features include forward collision avoidance assist, lane keeps assist, blind-spot detection with rear cross traffic alert, high-beam assists, and driver attention alert (which analyzes driving behavior, looking for increased lateral movement in the lane, a sudden increase of steering pattern, or insufficient lane guidance).
For 2019 Version, The standard engine for the 2019 Hyundai Veloster will be a 2.0-liter four-cylinder running on an Atkinson cycle for better fuel efficiency. This will likely translate into disappointing performance, though, with the peak 147 horsepower (110 kW) of the engine coming at a very high 6,200 rpm and the maximum 132 lb-ft (179 Nm) of torque coming at 4,500 rpm. Both a six-speed manual and a six-speed electronically-controlled automatic transmission are available.
Torque vectoring control (through braking) is standard equipment on all 2019 Veloster models. This active cornering system uses the electronic stability control (ESC) system to improve cornering by using input from the wheel-speed sensors to apply braking force to the inside front wheel in hard cornering. This pushes power to the outside front wheel to reduce understeer and improve corner exit acceleration as well as inside wheel grip force.
How Much it Cost?
Sadly, I don’t have information yet, How much 2019 Hyundai Veloster cost, but good news I got little info from a good source that Production begins in Ulsan, South Korea in March, with examples arriving in dealers in the second quarter of 2018.
